Appointment of Dr. Ford Fisher as Chancellor

Dear Houston Community College Colleagues:

I am pleased to announce that the Houston Community College (HCC) Board of Trustees has approved the appointment of Dr. Margaret Ford Fisher as permanent Chancellor, effective immediately. A contractual agreement has been executed.

We value Dr. Ford Fisher's leadership and understanding of HCC and its mission. She is a visionary leader, committed to modernization and innovation, able to guide the institute through times of fundamental changes occurring in our sector. In her roles as President of HCC College, she demonstrated her ability to galvanize support across the community to advance the college. As President of HCC Online College, HCC became one of the largest and most respected online programs in the nation.
