College Activity Board (CAB)

The vision of the Coleman College Activity Board is that students take an active role in the student activity programming by joining officially recognized student organizations, attending sponsored activities, and participation in the decision-making processes related to the governance of the Student Activity Fee at both the college and system-wide levels. CAB is a sub-committee of HCC’s Student Fee Advisory Committee (SFAC), which has established CAB sub-committees at each of HCC’s colleges. The CAB board is a made up of both students and faculty/ staff members, with the students holding the majority of the seats. HCC-Coleman College’s CAB meetings are held monthly during the fall and spring semesters.
Student organizations must send student representation to monthly Student Government Association (SGA) meetings to remain eligible to request funding from CAB.
