Nursing (Vocational Nursing)

A licensed Vocational Nurse is a team member of the health care delivery system in health promotion, disease prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.  Accountability is based on competency performance in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individuals and families, group homes, hospitals, and community agencies.  A graduate of the Vocational Nursing Program finds employment opportunities in the Houston area and nationwide in hospitals, nursing homes, physicians' offices, schools and clinics.  The graduate can expect an annual salary range of $44,000+
